SUMMER WALK around the Royal Docks Sat, 31 Jul 2010 Time: 10:00
Neill and Myrtle Trueman hope you can join them for this year's walk - a 6-mile linear walk.

We will take the DLR to Pontoon Dock to visit the (Thames) Barrier Gardens then proceed across the high level footbridge to Excel for a lunch stop (picnic or café). Because of extension work we may need to by-pass by DLR to Royal Albert to join the Capital Ring through Beckton Park and pass the UeL Docklands. We will then follow the newly reopened Thames Path round Gallions Reach and pass the King George V dock entrance to the Royal Victoria Gardens at North Woolwich.
Here we have a choice, foot tunnel, ferry or DLR to finish the walk at Woolwich.

Freedom Pass, Day Travel ticket or Oyster Card will be required for this outing.
Venue: Meet at Lewisham DLR station (lower entrance)
