Green Flag Awards 2008	17 Jul 2008
The Civic Trust announced that 743 sites had won the Green Flag Award of which 151 were in London. Both Well Hall Pleasaunce and Sutcliffe Park were given the Green Flag Award. They had been given the Eltham Society Award in 2003 and 2004 respectively. See "Articles" section for an extract of awards in Greenwich.

Open House London Annual Event 2008	20 Sep 2008
London Open House is weekend of 20 - 21 September Open House London Annual Event invites people to experience, explore, and understand architecture, design and the built environment. It is London’s largest architecture festival, with over 600 buildings new and old all over London opening their doors at no charge to the public. There is direct access to the teams that design, construct, conserve and regenerate their environment. Alongside this are special programmes, activities and publications.
